It feels like Christmas came early here at Bean HQ! We’re so excited to finally announce that we are launching in 22 Yorkshire Co-op food stores.
Keeping patriotism to a minimum, we bloody love Yorkshire, and all that makes it - the countryside, the people, and the FOOD.
Our adoration for God’s Own County makes this listing extra special. Not only is it our very first supermarket listing, (a HUGE DEAL), but it also feels fitting that we’re stocked in Co-op stores local to us.

More on our Yorkshire story...
Yorkshire is close to our hearts. Our business was born here; in fact, it all began when Zoe and Adam's Grandfather who started farming here at North Breckenholme in 1956. The farm is nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds - we're surrounded by stunning countryside and an abundance of wildlife. Not to name drop, but we're next door neighbours with wildlife photographer and artist Robert E Fuller, and the chalky hills made a pretty amazing backdrop for our brand film that we recently released - you can watch it below.
Adam took over the farm in 2000, when he was just 19. Young and keen, he invested in a hydraulic press to crush the oil seed rape that he grew and nothing has stopped him since. 20 years later, he created The Honest Bean Co, so it's safe to say our roots are firmly planted in Adam's biggest passion, regenerative agriculture.
A few years later, Zoe joined the team and the mission to get more people eating the humble British fava bean continued. With a growing team, it feels so good to announce our FIRST EVER supermarket listing with the Co-op. We're absolutely bursting with pride! Keep an eye out for our 40g bags of Lightly Salted and Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar Roasted Fava Beans in your local Yorkshire Co-op store.
