Spring is on the way and here at Honest Bean HQ we’re all getting pretty excited about the thought of warmer weather (fingers crossed) and more daylight hours so we can spend even more time out in the fresh air.
To celebrate the exciting prospect of longer days and more time outdoors we’ve asked a few of the walking and hiking fanatics on the bean team to tell us about their favourite walking routes in the UK.
So here we go, let's hand over to the team...

Your favourite UK walk:
Craster to Low Newton circular- Northumberland, England
Distance:
Approx 8 miles
Jo says:
"This walk has everything that I love about Northumberland. Rugged and dramatic coastline, long and sweeping sandy beaches with some castles and great pubs thrown in for good measure. Time your arrival into Low Newton around midday for The Ship Inn opening its doors. Order a pint and a crab sandwich, you won’t regret it."

Murrays Monument Circular – Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland
Distance:
Approx 3 miles
Gemma says:
"This is my family’s favourite walk in Scotland. We love it because even my young son doesn’t get bored and we go wild swimming at the top of the climb."
What's your name and what do you do at Honest Bean?
Jennie - Design and social media
Your favourite walk:
Robin Hood's Bay to Ravenscar Circular, North Yorkshire, England
Distance:
Approx 7.4 miles
Jennie says:
“This walk takes you across a stunning part of the Yorkshire coast, and is a circular walk, so if you start and finish in robin hoods bay, you can pick up fish and chips and a pint at the end! Robin Hoods Bay is one of my favourite places in the UK, it looks like a snapshot into the past. The walk itself is a good length and not too much work so quite accessible to most people.”
What's your name and what do you do at Honest Bean?
Marcelle - Communications
Your favourite walk:
South Cave to Goodmanham, East Yorkshire, England
Distance:
Approx 12 miles
Marcelle says:
“This walk is part of a larger trail of 79 miles across the chalky landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds, starting at the Humber estuary, and winding its way to Filey Brigg. I love this walk as it's a less challenging walk than some parts of the full trail, there's also a vineyard on the route, and a great pub at the end - offering a wonderful Sunday Roast with Yorkshires!
Along the way there's plenty of historic markers, but for me the highlight is the unique and stunning landscape and views of the open Wolds and dry valleys. It feels other worldly, and there's nothing else in the UK that compares for me.
Great route marking along the way, this walk takes me around 4 hours to complete.”
